Elderly Care

Valerie provides FREE drop-in visits for elderly widows who have lost their husbands.

A drop-in service is not a sitter service.  Valerie offers a helping hand and friendship. She provides drop-ins on Tuesdays or Thursdays. The hours vary but are usually between 11 am-4 pm.

Val wants to help you have peace of mind by checking on your mom. There is a donate button below in case you are the kind of person who doesn't accept free help, but her drop-in services are absolutely FREE!

About Me

I am 48 years old. My husband and I reside in Hoover, Al. I have two grown boys and one 6-pound spoiled Morkie. I worked in several caregiving fields including foster care and home health care when I was younger.

I loved working with people one-on-one but life took me in a different direction right around the time I began having children. I've always missed helping people. Now that my kids are grown, I have the time to help my community once again. This time I'm offering my services for free.

I provide quick but helpful services and a wellness check. I can make sure your mom is eating, check her book pressure, and even tidy up the house a bit but I am mostly there to be a friend. 💕

"Honor widows who are truly widows. But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show piety at home and to repay their parents; for this is good and acceptable before God." 1 Timothy 5:3
